Lewis and Clark Wildlife River
Clark's Return on the Yellowstone River
Yellowstone Family
Established in 1872, Yellowstone is the world's first and best-known national park. In general, there are three major "must-see"resources to be experienced in Yellowstone National Park. The first and essentially the reason why the park was created are the amazing hydrothermal features, principally the geysers and hot springs. Yellowstone harbors the greatest number of geysers anywhere on earth. Thermal features can be found throughout the park, yet the highest concentration of geysers and hot springs is in the Old Faithful area. For the average visitor, this area is easy to find but not so easy to understand. The second must-see resource is the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River including its two waterfalls: the Upper Falls (109 feet) and the Lower Falls (308 feet). The third resource of Yellowstone is wildlife, and we see wildlife in key locations (i.e. appropriate habitat) as well as opportunistically along the way (a moose along the road, or a bison herd crossing the road.)

"We like to achieve wildlife diversity in our Full Day Safaris. For a more in depth experience of bears and wolves we are happy to highlight these particular animals. Please refer to our Bears and Wolves page.

We will help you experience Yellowstone and the above mentioned values in a unique and personal way. We will also help you access other, more intimate values of the natural world, such as a special wildlife event or backcountry memory.
Our actual itinerary will be, to some extent, dependent upon where we meet you. We can make arrangements for accommodations and be together inside Yellowstone or we can meet you at your hotel in one of the gateway communities of Gardiner or West Yellowstone, or we can meet you at our home base town of Bozeman, Montana. If we meet you in Bozeman, you may choose not to rent a car as we will provide for your transportation as part of our service. At the time of reservation, you will be asked to fill out a "Yellowstone Objectives" questionnaire. This will help us understand your goals and allow us to best plan our time with you.

We will incorporate your priorities into our itinerary as much as possible; for example, spotting wildlife in their habitat, exploring backcountry geysers, hiking along a canyon, or photographing a particular waterfall. This is what makes our safaris special, and this is why no two of our safaris are alike.
